Carry order, captions and IDs forward. Each old photo needs an explicit replacement or Keep decision.
Review with intent
A new image does not make an old caption accurate. Check every retained caption before exporting.
Keep a portable master
Save a local project for next week. Export DOCX for your assembled report and PDF as an independent copy.
Inspect the deliverable first.
All public sample material is synthetic. Try two weekly iterations with the real replacement chooser and export pipeline, then inspect the actual files.

Know the fit before buying.
The intended full package runs offline in the recorded Chrome Stable on Linux and produces editable tables for LibreOffice with the supplied Noto Sans font. Windows, Edge and Microsoft Word are unverified. Up to 60 still JPEG/PNG photos, 150,000,000 source bytes, and 2,000 characters per caption.
